2012 Proposed trail re-route on the Doane Property development behind the Town Garage, which affects the trail from the rail road tracks near Tuttle Road over to behind the Salt Shed and over to Route 9 and the Irving Station. The trail will need to be re-routed around the back of the Town Garage, behind the Salt Shed, then into the Town Forest to meet back up with the Irving bridge trial. Trails in RED are our trails. Trails in black are either
Falmouth Sno-Voyagers (to the south) or the Pownal/North Yarmouth clubs (to the north). Please note the 102 powerline/Smithwood Drive closure by CMP/MDOC due to a few Smithwood Drive residents having issues. This has disconnected Cumberland from being able to get out of town in either direction. (Due to the Route 9/Valacci field closure on our southern trail system from last February.) The Doane Property trail will be GPS'ed when completed and we have snow.
